Hi! My name is Melissa Florio. I am an Ohio Northern University graduate! I graduated in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a focus in marketing and a minor in public relations. I have recently moved down to the Cincinnatie area to work for Momentum Marketing. I hope to find a full-time position that will be begin my career in marketing or public relations.

 



While at ONU, I was very involved on campus. I was president of my Delta Zeta sorority this year, as well as the Vice President of Membership and public relations chair a few years ago. I was a the Head Bear of Good News Bears, which is a freshman orientation welcoming committee. I was also a member of Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). I also worked in the Communications and Marketing Department here at ONU. I gained a lot of valuable experience and loved working with the C&M department. I also had a summer internship at the Center for Innovative Food Technology in Toledo, Ohio this past summer. I was able to improve my writing skills, social media skills and confidence while at CIFT. I also held a seasonal sales-associate position at The Limited.



In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my beloved family. Every time my family gets together, there is always bound to be laughter, jokes and plenty of good food. I enjoy playing softball, snowmobiling and shopping. Camping, traveling and the outdoors are other hobbies I love to fill my time with. When I'm not busy with all of my activities, I love sitting down with a good book, and getting lost in the characters and their stories. Music is also a passion of mine. Sitting down and playing the piano has always been a true passion of mine.
